Sounds like a cloaking device. Very advanced technology.

Three possible titles for the last Chapter of Indavo!

1. Twilight of the Space Explorers (This is the one I had scribbled down in 2004)

2. All Sardy Things . . . (A play of ST:the Next Generation's swan song "All Good Things . . .")

3. Space Explorers in My Pants (For symmetry with Chapter 1.)

My vote is anything but #2.

one actually makes it sound far more dramatic.
two basically amounts to all shitty things, which is a bad title.
three sounds almost hopeful, as if they would continue on after the end.

I'd go with "Twilight of the Space Explorers", as it seems like a fitting title for an ending. Even if it doesn't have anything to do with vampires. Or any of the other things that get connected to that time of day. It's a pretty cool word, so I guess you'll just have to live with it also being quite popular. ;-) (If this hadn't occurred to you, and the title is now tarnished or even ruined, sorry about that.)

"All Sardy Things . . ." sounds a bit too crude for Indavo, and "Space Explorers in My Pants" sounds like something the Immortal Emperor would be the one saying/thinking/feeling as he'll be the one getting those space explorers in his pants. But it really doesn't come off as something he'd say or think, does it?

I like "Twilight of the Space Explorers" the most. I agree with the others that #2 would be a poor choice.

A rare occurrence! The mysterious Keito appears.

#1 is the most dignified, I think. How serious is the finale? Does it warrant a serious title?

Mayhaps so, I do sometimes like for my titles to play against the mood of the chapter at hand.

However, I'm leaning toward #1 myself.

I guess it should've been evident that Racheal wasn't necessarily as young as she looks, given that the people on her home planet thought that she was some kind of witch. But if she "understands perfectly" the desire to avenge the death of a loved one, that makes me wonder what she went through before Indavo came by.
