Yeah 2-D seems like a poor choice for multiplayer gaming. Good game for single player but Mario Kart is probably better for multiplayer.

Joe and I found it hard to multiplay on the new Mario game, so I ended up just trying to sabatoge him. At one point, I was running as fast as I could across the stage in an attempt to avoid popping his revive bubble! I also grabbed and threw him into pits a lot.

Any updates moueska?

If you like downloadable content, they made a new Tetris game available. It's quite nice in a frantic sort of way.

Funny you should mention downloadable content. After seeing that everything's pretty expensive on the market, I ended up investing $50 in wii points. XD

We've got:
Samurai Toaster - silly multiplayer in 2D - a Pop Tarts commercial- with swords!
a carnival-style shooting game - eh... not great.
a racing game -Pseudo-greek and amusing... takes the nunchuck and the wiimote to do it and I drive like a drunken sailor. But multiplayer AND fun!
Onslaught - FPS with alien bugs. Unfortunately it doesn't have a multiplayer setting - which it ought to. Otherwise easily the best game we've bought/downloaded

The woman who had set up the Wii competition I won at work cornered me one morning and herded me up to her office. She then presented a game that I think I'll probably end up trading in at Game Stop towards a better one. It's "Island Sports"... the mini-golf can't be truncated to just you - it HAS to be you, and however many Computer-controlled characters it takes to make a party of four. On top of that, the game's not really responsive, either. *sigh*

Still thinking about the Mario and Zelda games... the only Mario I actually saw on the shelf for the Wii at the time was Mario Paper. Oh, and Wario. Lots of Wario for some reason.

Wario needs to stop being an extended fart joke. Downloadable content seems to be very addictive, eh? Admittedly, Joe dl's most of it. He goes for the classics like Castlevania 1 and Mario 1.

Well, you always played Mario, and he's barrel-shaped in my view. XD

Ugh, when the hell am I going to remember to set up a Wii online account for myself... I'm itching to get in on some of the action I've been reading about.
I 'unno, maybe I'll do it tomorrow, I've got everything I need, except the knowledge of how to do so.

Keep checking in here. Assuming he hasn't seen it already, I'll bug Joe about it. If anyone knows, it's him.

Luckily my mom is a computer and wi-fi junkie, so she helped me out a bit as to getting myself an account. If I'm actually awake in the day and feeling well, I should have an account in the next two days.
